Kapu Alaka’i was sculpted from Maui sea plum driftwood, found on a remote rocky beach near Hana.

This Hawai’ian sculpture is named after the legend of a powerful Kahuna in Hana.  (Kapu Alaka’i was revered for her healing powers)
